OP Doggies: Wounded

Another Straw-Hat-Doggies picture.

This is kinda like after Luffy meets Zoro and he joins his "pack", which explains why Zoro doesn't have his scars, yet. While these two are scrounging around the city, looking for food, they've struck gold when they take a peek inside the dumpster of a local Italian joint. Of course, the owner doesn't take this very well and chases them off...with a gun.

Luffy almost gets hit, but Zoro takes the bullet to his flank for him. Luffy says that maybe they should take Zoro to a shelter so he can get the bullet removed, but Zoro refuses, saying he never wants to go back to a shelter, again. Luffy then says that Zoro should at least let him lick his wound, for it could get infected, or worse, Zoro could bleed to death.

Zoro says that he's fine, but Luffy can tell that his friend is in a lot of pain, especially when they're trying to sleep one night.

When Zoro wakes up the next morning, the pain in his leg is gone and the blood seems to have been licked clean. He realizes that Luffy must've somehow taken the bullet out and then licked the wound while Zoro was asleep.

Even though Zoro is thankful to Luffy for what he did, but he asks him why he did it, anyway. Luffy just smiles and says, "It's because we're friends, stupid."
