SPOILERS FROM ONE PIECE/POKEMON CROSSOVER FIC!!
Zoroark, self-proclaimed guardian of Lostlorn Island, believed that the Straw Hats were trying to invade the place and attacks them before they can explain themselves. She didn't realize that the Straw Hats were trying to bring Zorua home. The Straw Hats also didn't know that Zoroark is Zorua's mother. Luffy distracts Zoroark from the others and does battler with her.
He got hit in the stomach from Zoroark's Night Slash, which is why he's bleeding. He got a momentary rush of adrenaline when Zoroark nicks his hat and he plows her into the ground with a Gum Gum Hammer. However, Zoroark gets back up and unleashes her Night Daze attack, which stuns Luffy and causes him to get pinned to a rock, and Zoroark prepares to maul him to death.
