TMNT: Fang Face

An OC I made for the TMNT 2012 cartoon on Nickelodeon. She would appear in Season 2, when the Turtles are trying to locate some mutagen.

Fang Face was once a teenage girl named Julia Garcia who happens to go to the same school as April and Casey. She had a loving mother and father and a pet Chihuahua she named Mocha, and she works as a volunteer at the zoo, where she spends time in the wolf enclosure.

Julia was on her way home from the zoo after volunteer work. As she walked, a canister of mutagen seemed to fall from the sky and fell on her, and due to her petting one of the wolves at the zoo, Julia ended up mutating into a giant wolf girl. She tried to return home and get help from her parents, but when they saw the new form she had taken, they attacked her in blind fear. Only her dog Mocha seemed to understand. Julia runs away from home, but is caught by the police. She tries to explain, but she is met with the same result.

Believing that everyone sees her as a monster, now, Julia decides that a monster is what she will become.

Several nights after her mutation, she is located and attacked by the Kraang, and she manages to put up a good fight, but eventually, they manage to subdue her. Just before she is taken away, the Turtle arrive and save Julia, whom Michelangelo christens "Fang Face". Leonardo asks her if she's all right, but instead, she blindly attacks the Turtles, as well, believing they were working for the Kraang. After she calms down, Fang Face explains that she does not really want to be a monster and that she is just confused after her mutation. After she explains what happened to her, Mikey sheepishly confesses that while the Turtles were on their way home to their lair, he was carrying 2 mutagen canisters for Donatello, but accidentally dropped one, which ended up landing on Julia. Upon realizing this, Fang Face turns on the Turtles again and blames them for "turning her into a freak".

Later, she is again subdued by the Kraang, who attempt to imprison her in an attempt to control her, but the Turtles, April, and Casey come to her rescue. April convinces Fang Face to forgive the Turtles, for she once held a grudge against them as well, and advises to instead take that misplaced anger out on the Kraang, which the mutant wolf happily agrees to. With her help, the Turtles win yet another battle and return home.

With nowhere to go or return to, Fang Face decides to join the Turtles and stays in their lair with them. Splinter agrees, but he claims he's "not cleaning up after her."

Fang Face acts mostly like a giant pet dog to the Turtles: sweet, loyal, and lovable, but also very fierce. Her claws and fangs are strong to tear a Kraang-droid to pieces. Her eyes flash red whenever she's angry, but they turn to their natural purple when she is calm and happy.
