You Are Umasou

I recently saw this movie called You Are Umasou, which is the story of an orphan T-Rex named Heart who was adopted by a Maiasaurus. He grows up with another Maiasaurus named Light, but as time goes on, Heart realizes that he's born to eat his fellow dinosaurs, and runs away after an encounter with one of his own kind.

Years later, he finds an egg containing an Anklyosaurus, who, after hatching, mistakes Heart for his father and thinking his name is Umasou (which is "delicious" in Japanese). At first, Heart plans on eating Umasou, but he can't find it in himself to do so. When he fights a pack of T-Rex to protect his adopted son, Baku, a bigger, older, one-eyed T-Rex, exiles him to the plains.

It's a story about no matter what species you are, when you have a kind heart, you can even bend the laws of nature.
