Sanji stood at the balcony, looking down at the bracelets on his wrists with incredible unease. Usually, he was so cool and collected, but he had every reason to be fearful...especially when he kept hearing Judge's words, over and over in his head.
"If you try to escape this island, they will blow your hands off at the wrist! We are GOING to see you married off!!"
Sanji attempted to pull the bracelets off, but Reiju stopped when the bracelets began ticking.
"There's no other way to get them off except with the key. Why would it be any other way?"
The way she smiled at him, all nonchalant...it made him sick. He remembered the day when Zeff taught him about how a chef's hands were important. He accidentally cut himself when he tried to put up a fight with one of the staff, and Zeff kicked him for using his hands for fighting instead of making precious food. The more he looked at the bracelets, the more frustrated Sanji felt, so much so he began to ruffle his hair and growl in anger...but his anger soon stopped when he heard sniffling behind him. He turned around and saw Aika, sitting on the bed and sniffling as she clutched her dress.
"Aika?" Sanji asked as he went to her side. "What's wrong?"
"This is all my fault," Aika answered as tears fell from her eyes. "I'm so sorry, Sanji...now you're trapped here because of me!"
"Aika, no!" Sanji said as he pulled her into a hug. "That's not true! You're not the one I'm angry at! It's my so-called 'Father' and that sister of mine! They're the ones who did this to me! You had absolutely nothing to do with it!"
Aika sniffled as she looked up at Sanji, who gave her a reassuring smile.
"Look," he said. "I know that things are crazy right now, but...look on the bright side. You're here with me...and maybe, just maybe...that'll make things a bit more bearable for me."
Aika smiled up at him before she returned his hug. However, despite the tender moment, Sanji looked up with a serious expression.
'This just got more complicated,' he thought. 'I should've known Luffy would come here and look for me...but for once, I actually wish he'd just stay away.' He then looked down at Aika. 'The least he could do is get Aika outta here, at least.'

Just to give you a taste of what to come.
Regarding One Piece: The Fire Within.
It's a new year now, and One Piece is in its final saga...and so much has happened since I started on that story. So, I've decided: I'm probably going to be rewriting the whole thing...and maybe even give it a different plot entirely. Honestly, looking back, some of it didn't really make sense. I really wanted to do a story where Luffy is forced to come to terms with his trauma and the Straw Hats witness them all. So much has happened as far as the canon story line goes and...let's be honest, I don't know if I'll ever get the motivation to do this, again. It might be easier if I just scrap the whole thing and rewrite with a better plot. I know some of you might have been looking forward to more of it, but honestly, I just think it's better this way.
Things I wanna do in 2024 and so on.
Here are some things that I would like to do in the coming year and so forth. Stories and artwork that I would like to write again or start on. For instance, I really would like to start on a series of Genshin Impact stories. I don't know if I want them be a series of one-shots or a novelization, but we'll see. I do know that I want Lumine to be the main character and I wanna ship her with Xiao. Also, I'd still like to work on more of Lorune and really get the story going, and hopefully, I'll be able to do that next year because I don't wanna make it seem like I'm just dragging things out. Most of all, I wanna be able to work on my next Fairy Tail story after the Tenrou Island Arc: The Legend of the Seven Stars. I'm really trying to brainstorm everything and get everything together. Also, I would really like to go back to playing my video games again like Tears of the Kingdom and Genshin Impact, as well as One Piece Odyssey and the Fairy Tail Video Game. Oh, and as far as health
